Polyrhythms are layers of rhythm patterns played together in a set. During this workshop you will explore and learn several rhythms for each set and get a chance to play each one in the polyrhythm on a provided hand drum.

A note fom Perry:

I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Chuck Davis and the African American Dance Ensemble for three years during which time I learned many sets of polyrhythms. We will explore as many of these as we can in this easy and fun workshop that is suited for all abilities. I specialize in beginner to intermediate workshops and perform hand percussion professionally.
