STIM & DESTIM
Building on the series ‘Neuro yoga: pain relief & play’ This practice builds upon a grounding Hatha yoga foundation, adding in neurological exercises like hand and eye movements, cranial nerve stimulation, and proprioceptive integration. Some main goals include: building confidence in our ability to connect to analog flow states off of our mat (and reduce Screen Time) and building neuroplasticity to support novel experiencing and improved social connectivity. This class is based off the work of somatic practitioners Diana May and Niamh Daly, incorporating exercises designed to relieve chronic pain in an accessible, compassionate all-levels yoga class.
