with Dana Stachowiak, Ph.D.
This workshop is for anyone who has wrestled with body acceptance (whether it be your gender identity, size, skin color, or wherever your judgement about your body lies) and who desires to explore self-compassion and tune into the goodness of your body. This 3-part series incorporates lovingkindness into meditation and embodiment practices as tools for cultivating a tenderness and love for our bodies and our beings. We will begin with practicing how to send lovingkindness to ourselves. In the next session, we will uncover the power of the mind-body-soul connection. And in the last session, we will learn to discover joy in things as they are as we take our practice into the world. No matter how you identify and whether you are new to mindfulness or have been practicing for years, we welcome your unique presence. You are warmly invited to show up to heal, forgive, and find joy in your body and your being.
