We are honored to host author, Brenda Nicholas on Wednesday, April 13th, 2022, from 7:30pm - 8:30pm for a poetry reading. this is a free event.

Brenda teaches at Cape Fear Community College & serves as poetry editor of Hybridities. She earned her M.A. in English at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY, and her M.F.A at UNC-Wilmington.

She will share her poetry from, Hari Om, Hurry Home, a collection of yoga poetry that explores her transformative mental and physical journey with her yoga practice.

These poems, titled after asanas, follow the natural flow of a vinyasa yoga class and delve into universal topics such as love, heartbreak, parenthood, and death.
