Trust provides the foundation for love & connection. In Acro-Yoga we work in partnerships that begin with trust to provide the possibility for the partnership to blossom into sacred connection. The flyer has to trust that the base will support and meet the flyer in the places of instability/vulnerability. The base has to trust that the flyer will move with the base so that the base can support the flyer, and the base has to trust that when base misses or fails in those places of instability that the flyer will forgive and try again. Both partners have to trust that the other is bringing their best to the practice and accepts the other just as they are (body type, strengths, growth edges, etc). When both partners find this place of trust it creates a safe place that frees both partners to express and feel the warmth of connection.
