with rev. dr. megan rose + zach hanner of the blarney brogues
Beltane (Calan Mai) marks the beginning of the Light Half of the year. It is a time of shedding winter confinement and isolation while celebrating community, fertility and growth.
This workshop is an introduction to Celtic myths, a journey into connection, and a reactivation of your spiritual essence.
This time will include breath work, meditation, yoga practice (all levels), and Live Music featuring Zach Hanner.

Zach Hanner of The Blarney Brogues Bio
Wilmington’s only full-time Irish band, The Blarney Brogues has been in existence for nearly 20 years in some form or fashion. Founded by fiddler and songwriter Craig Thompson, the band features classic traditional Irish tunes, modern Irish rock and pun hellok songs and a number of outstanding original compositions. Comprised of Matt Malloy on baritone guitar, Zach Hanner on acoustic guitar and Rachel Tisdale on bodhran drum, flute and four string banjo, The Blarney Brogues have developed a following in the Port City and have the kind of music that turns a rowdy crowd into a happy crowd. The band is excited to be a part of the Celtic themed yoga workshop and looks forward to a fun and enlightening day!
