After finding her way back to yoga at Terra Sol in 2022, Jennifer decided to enroll in yoga teacher training in 2024 to deepen her personal practice. Yoga has led her to find immense love and compassion for her body and all it allows her to experience in this life. During her training, Jennifer kept connecting with people who expressed excitement at the idea of learning yoga from a plus sized instructor. To her surprise and delight, she began teaching yoga in August of 2024. She is passionate about encouraging people to love their bodies, just as they are – and to follow their curiosity to find joy and ease in movement while connecting to their mind and spirit. She believes yoga is for every body and loves finding creative modifications to help people find their way into postures. Jennifer (RYT200) is also a mother, artist, event organizer, level 2 Reiki practitioner and continues to work full time in her 25+ year software development career. She adores the amazingly supportive and creative community she finds herself a part of in Wilmington, NC.
