In this month's GSY workshop, we'll be restoring the muscles from head to toe using somatic movement flows to release tension from the back, hips, neck and shoulders, freeing up greater ease and mobility to create a deep rejuvenation for body and mind that feels like you've just had a massage from the inside-out.
This is a slow, mindful practice of self corrective subtle exercises that invite you to get curious and explore your own personal mind/body connection. We do this through isolating specific muscles, mindfully contracting those muscles, and then slowly releasing them until the tone of muscles return back to neutral. It is through the practice of isolating and focusing on particular muscles in a way that provides the brain with information that it can synthesize and use to create a more integrated experience of body and mind.
