Introduced to meditation and yoga at an early age, Maura has always been passionate about the mind/body/soul connection and the benefits yoga provides. Her dedication to her personal yoga practice led her to complete her 200 hour certification program. She studied traditional Hatha yoga from the Sivananda Lineage and has experience teaching classes such as Chair Yoga, Prenatal, Meditation and All Levels from Beginner to Advanced as well as teaching at retreats and leading workshops. She is also a Certified Reiki Practitioner and attained an Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy Certification.

Maura finds that the practice of yoga is about finding balance, peace and strength both on and off the mat. She believes that in order to create peace within our families, communities and world, we must first find that balance and peace within ourselves.

She has found that a consistent practice allows one to honor their True Authentic Self while cultivating compassion. By teaching students to mindfully move their bodies while connecting to their breath, she guides them through their own unique personal journey of self transformation.
